The original material is already (with its flaws, obviously) a wonderful work, and this adaptation is so faithful, if not more faithful than faithful, to this dense and creative story. Watch it and recommend it to your friends and family so they too can enjoy this work.

As a fan of the original source material (which is the web novel; the manhua is also an adaptation), I have to say that this donghua is an outstanding adaptation of an excellent story.

When you think about an isekai, you want to see the protagonist truly using the knowledge from the modern world to his or her advantage. Well, this story gives you precisely that.

Furthermore, the tone of the story is what you expect according to the setting. Not to mention that, unlike in our world, witches are real in the story, which adds another layer of complexity to the plot. We are not talking about the Church executing defenseless people but powerful beings that could potentially be very dangerous. As the protagonist said, magic is neutral in principle, after all.

The pacing is excellent, the characters are very well written, the world-building so far is very appealing, and the direction is wonderful. Besides, the animation is gorgeous, and the OST is on point. 100% recommended!
